The Cŵn Annwn are hellhounds of Wales, hunting alongside Arawn, God of the otherworld, during the Wild Hunt. Hearing their howls would foretell your inevitable death.
But the louder their bark, the safer you are; they get quieter when they approach!
I had so much fun writing this Drabble for Drabbledark II. This anthology has eighty stories in total, all told in 100 words. Perfect for a coffee break read.
